The Backseat Lovers

The Backseat Lovers carried a tune at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago, IL. Personally, this show was a special one for me as I drove 12 hours in the same day to see this show just to work hours later and brag about how amazing an experience it was to hear a sold out show of 2,500 people screaming that girls with nose rings know better than they do.
On top of the usual fan favorites, the band played their new album, Waiting to Spill, top to bottom. Again I had a 6 hour car drive to get to this show, so I made sure I had the album on repeat until I could phrase every song A Capella. The album introduces a theme of growing up and getting away from what you thought you were and becoming something you thought wasn’t possible.
